Performance Passport

Welcome, particularly if you are an official member of “Performance Passport”; a project run by Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance. Thanks to an agreement with your current college, you will receive access to information on Higher Education as a step to working in Theatre and the Creative Industries.

This is the Virtual Learning Environment, where we hope you will enjoy the resources we've found, and also the chatrooms where you can talk to students from Rose Bruford and partner colleges.

Managing performance - stage mgt and business

A selection of resources to help with the management of productions - mostly checklists. Some are concerned with admin, some with stage management.
Technical theatre

Collection of assorted articles relevant to technical arts students (and others) - this area will shortly contain two new courses: on Stage Lighting, and on Theatre Sound.
Theatre and communities

A series of lectures and resources on Theatre/performance and community, showing some of the range of arts activities people are including in their careers.
Staff discussion area
An area for sharing of thoughts, queries, requests for help and so on. Also for suggestions on website content.
Intellectual property

Collection of references and resources regarding a difficult and evolving area
Arts policy and practice

At present, a repository for interesting stuff. It has reports and articles and web addresses for arts education; the economics of the arts; cultural value and the current debate on the role of the arts; funding and fundraising; and on areas of performance.
